Beyoncé is celebrating Halloween by paying tribute to Prince’s iconic "Purple Rain."
The Grammy-winning artist, 43, transformed into both Prince and Apollonia, the actress who starred alongside him in the 1984 film. She shared her amazing looks in an Instagram post on November 1.
In her photos, Beyoncé wore a stylish wig and the famous purple coat and boots that Prince wore in the movie. She also held a matching guitar in some shots.

That same day, she also shared photos of herself dressed as Betty Davis, the singer and former wife of Miles Davis, with the caption “BETTY DAVIS IN MY BONES 🎸.”
Fans are buzzing about Beyoncé’s recent tributes to these rock legends, believing she might be hinting at the theme of her upcoming album, which is expected to be the third in a trilogy. Her 2022 album "Renaissance" was the first installment, followed by "Cowboy Carter," released in March.
"Renaissance" focused on themes of resilience, pride, and joy. In a March Instagram post, Beyoncé explained that "Cowboy Carter" was inspired by an experience where she felt unwelcome in the music industry. She stated, "The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me."
Beyoncé described her latest work as a continuation of "Renaissance." She hopes this new music will take listeners on a journey, allowing them to start from the beginning and never stop.
